NaBloPoMo 2016 - Day 22

Day 22!  How time flies!

This cold thing looks like it's here to stay.. I blame [livejournal.com profile] franthewndrhrse - she thought it was a good idea!

The first episode of Love Sick Season 2 is really good. This bodes well.

I dropped some pasta and it rolled under the stove today so I thought while I was at it I'd clean under the stove.  YUCK!  I suspect I wiped out whole emerging civilizations.
~~~~~~~
Best episode yet of Timeless.  It was like an adult wrote most of it.  Woot for adults writing things!
Today's prompt:
Nov. 22: What TV show are you obsessed with? Share 10 reasons it’s better than the other shows.
Seriously?  If anyone reading this hasn't figured this one out, I just give up.
~~~~~~~~
One word prompt: Elicit. Which of course make me think of illicit.  And solicit. And explicit.  And complicit. All those -cit words. It's been many years since I napped through Latin class, but there's clearly a pattern going on here.

I didn't know you were watching Timeless. I am, too, though not with enthusiasm. The premise is interesting but so far it doesn't seem well-written or acted. It looks great but what a waste of great production values. However, I haven't seen last night's episode yet.

I am watching it hopefully (grown-up sci-fi/speculative fiction, when done well, is glorious.) The writing has been pedestrian and the acting...well, there are a lot of good actors on that show, but I don't know if it's the writing alone or the or the combination, direction, but, well, Abigail Spencer, for example - she always seems like she's on the brink of tears. (Yeah, I get it. It's all a bit stressful, but suck it up a little bit!) And the bad guys all but twirl their moustaches.(But Paterson Joseph is always a joy to behold, and the main reason I decided to tune in in the first place.) But husband and I both thought last nights ep as the strongest so far. It's a new show and sometimes things take a while to get their feet under them, so I'll keep watching until I can't stand it any more. ;)

Noooo... I was being sarcastic. I guess the Powers That Be don't understand sarcasm? I don't understand Physics, so, I guess it's even.

We're done in again by an insufficiently developed sense of irony.
