SNOW!  It isn't sticking, but it's so cold and not warm. NOT WARM!
Finally saw Doctor Strange.  I vote yes.  :D

I first saw Alexei Sayle  approximately 150 years ago in The Young Ones.  He's currently got a new radio series on BBC 4 called Alexei Sayle's Imaginary Sandwich Bar. It's brilliant. If you've got 28 minutes, treat yourself.
Oh, Poldark. Still bonkers.
Today's one word prompt: Scorched. As in scorched Earth policy. Oh, Machiavelli, you have been a bad influence on me.

Spectre is terrible.  Boring and terrible.  No wonder Daniel Craig keeps badmouthing it.

Saw the preview for Leonardo D's upcoming movie, The Revenant.  The trailer looks amazing.  But then again, the trailer for Spectre looked pretty good, and we all know how that turned out.

The weather was lovely here today, so we did yard work.  Lather, rinse, and repeat.

I am not looking forward to the holidays.  I don't remember the last time I did.

How about you?

Great fun!  I enjoyed the film very much.  So much so that I now want to read the book.

Poitics aside...

OMG!  AWESOME! Amazing. Fantastic!  Adored it!  Mindless, wonderful fun!

And Roxy Music!

Don't take anyone under, um, 30. 30 with a good sense of humour.

Happy 2015!

We celebrated in the now tradttional way, with lobsters and a movie, in this case, The Battle of the Five Armies.

It was awesome.  Really. It did everything it had to do, and did it well. I know people are going to hate on it, but why?  If you didn't know what you were getting after the first five films, you were obviously not paying attention. Your fault, not theirs.

For those of you who have wondered, the hot dwarf remained hot (if not undamaged).

(I don't think he can help it. Hot is as hot does, and whatnot.)

Also, have a terrific 2015!

...was thoroughly enjoyable. (If by 'enjoyable' one means two hours of sniffling and absolutely NOT weeping. At all.)

Which is to say, Veronica Mars was SO MUCH FUN!!!

Happy Monday! Ha ha ha!

Today's prompt:

25. We're on a roll with the holiday stuff. So... what's your favorite holiday movie or TV episode?

As mentioned yesterday, the Clone High Snowflake Day episode. It's demented, but in the best way, and it will forever change your life - FOREVER!

A Charlie Brown Christmas has the best sound track ever.

A Christmas Story is fun every time.

The Bishop's Wife with Loretta Young, David Niven and Cary Grant, because LORETTA YOUNG, DAVID NIVEN, and  CARY GRANT.

Elf is surprisingly charming.

Muppet's Christmas Carol is wonderful. ("We're Marley and Marley - woooooooooooooo!!")

The REAL Miracle on 34th Street.

Rudolph, natch.

Nativity! is really fun. (Martin Freeman makes everything he's in better (tm) )

And my husband LOVES National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, so I watch that at least once a year, too.
