New Star Trek Coming January 2017
I do know exactly how I feel about being expected to pay for it up front (instead of at the super market/car dealership/clothing-shoe store as in the good old days.)

It was 20C here again today. They are now promising bad weather. Did I say I wanted the nice weather to stop? I did not.
Today's Prompt:What is the most important lesson you learned as a child, and who taught it to you?
My dad always said, "If you don't want someone to read it, don't put it in writing." It was always sound advice, but since the advent of the internet, it seems both obvious, and damned near prescient. Every time I see some idiot raging because his/her on-line privacy has been violated (violated, I say, VIOLATED!) and now all the naked pictures/incriminating data he/she uploaded to the cloud are in the hands of the public, I remember his wise words.
