NaBloPoMo 2016 - Day 5
Nov. 5th, 2016 05:11 pmIt is lovely and sunny today. And of course that means... YARDWORK! Woohoo! Par-tay!!! (If I say it with enough enthusiasm, I might convince myself...) Here are the tomatilloes, itty bitty carrots and tomato/pepper things that were left.
Weirdly (I think) my strawberries are blossoming. What is that even about?

The time falls back tonight. I am really against this nonsense. We got rid of pennies; can this silliness be next?

No big prompt today (why? weekends don't count? should that be my topic? no. No, it should not.)

Today's one word prompt is HYPERBOLE. Which leads me to one of my favourite sites, Hyperbole and a Half. Allie talks/draws honestly about her struggles with dumb dogs, lunatic geese, and depression. It's been the source of many a meme. She hasn't updated the site since 2013 (she's working on her second book, she says/I hope) but it's full of fantabulous things. My favourite has got to be:

You will never look at La Bamba (or cheese triangles) the same way again.
