NaBloPoMo 2015 - Day 2
Nov. 2nd, 2015 10:42 pmFirst of all, happy birthday to
zinnia03! Hope it's been a good one!
Spent much of the day sanding furniture. You know what is not fun? Sanding furniture. We (my daughter, who moved out yesterday, is still here, because of long story) also planted a bunch of things that should have been planted, oh, four weeks ago? But (1) I was lazy and (2) the weather was awesome, so I pretended everything was on schedule.
BlogHer has a list of prompts for the month, and a cursory glance says they aren't offensive/dumb/too involved/too trite, so I will be using them to guide me. You could too!
Here is today's:

Here is today's:
What was the one toy that a friend had that you wished you had when you were little? My cousin Lisa had a LiteBrite and I desperately wanted one. We had a baby and a puppy at my house at the time, so it was a non-starter as far as my mom was concerned. It was also, as many of you will recall, powered by an incandescent lightbulb, which meant it was not only capable, but destined - if not in fact contractually obligated - to burn the house down. (This is also the reason I wasn't allowed to have an EasyBake Oven - clearly, lightbulbs have always been the enemy.)
How about you?
