Oh, this was an awesome read! Moore's got another fanfic novel out called "Fool," which is Hamlet told from Yorick's POV (prequel, obviously). Looking forward to finding it at the used bookstore.

DOH! Browsing the blurb on the back of the book didn't work in high school, either. Will I never learn? Also, bummed that it's not such a great book.

I think it was more me than Moore. I was expecting something more faithful to Shakespeare's Lear. Maybe if he'd written a totally originally story from the Fool's perspective rather than hinging it on Lear, I would've felt better about the book. It was engaging and amusing enough for me to finish it though.
