Tomorrow is U.S. Election Day! That means everything will be back to normal by mid-morning Wednesday, right? RIGHT????

Nov. 7: What was your worst Thanksgiving food fail?
We did Thanksgiving ages ago, but you know. The worst fail was the year I pulled the turkey out of the brine and...it had gone bad. (In case you were wondering, 15 pounds of rotten poultry smells really, really terrible.) I had lots of boneless skinless chicken breast in the freezer, so I thawed that and we barbecued (not so surprisingly, the sides that go with turkey go perfectly well with chicken) so the 14 people I was expected to feed got fed. But god, the smell. Ughhhhh.

One word prompt is: Irksome. What's irksome? Today, what isn't? But that might just be me. And Daylight Savings.
